Water main break impacting Fort Johnson Road

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A ‘major’ water main break is impacting Saturday morning traffic on Fort Johnson Road.

Officials with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) said Fort Johnson Road is closed at Folly Road.

Other impacted roads include Fort Johnson Road near Pauline Avenue, Jefford Street, and Witter Street. 

Charleston Water System, Dominion Energy, and SCDOT are responding. 

People are asked to avoid the area.
