Troopers release details on suspect vehicle in double hit-and-run on Ladson Road
LADSON, S.C. (WCBD) — State troopers are seeking public help identifying a second suspect driver in a hit-and-run that killed a motorcyclist Friday night.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the motorist who struck Christopher Ashley while attempting to get onto Oakmount Avenue around 8:41 p.m. was driving a blue 2019-2023 Ford Ranger.

After the Ford Ranger struck Ashley, he was ejected from the motorcycle into the westbound lanes on Ladson Road, where he was struck by a second vehicle driven by Jeannie Reagan Polite.
A second passenger was onboard the motorcycle when the collision occurred. That passenger was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
