Teen killed in shooting at Ridgeville bar and lounge

RIDGEVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – A teenager was shot and killed early Sunday morning at a Ridgeville bar and lounge.

Berkeley County Coroner Darnell Hartwell said his office was notified of a shooting that happened around 1:20 a.m. at the Exotic Bar & Lounge on Old Gilliard Road.

The victim, identified as a 16-year-old from Ridgeville, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Coroner Hartwell.

The shooting is being investigated by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office and Berkeley County Coroner’s Office.
