SOURCE SPORTS: Utah Jazz Throws Shade At ‘Inside The NBA’ Crew
The Utah Jazz has been one of the surprise stories of the NBA season. The Jazz currently is third in the loaded Western Conference with an 11-4 record. Apparently, TNT’s Inside The NBA crew aren’t completely sold on the Jazz.
The Jazz won their seventh straight game on Thursday night with a 129-118 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. Despite Utah’s recent success, Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, and the TNT crew do not believe they’re in the same class as the two Los Angeles teams, Lakers and Clippers.
Following the game, the Jazz took a couple of shots at the TNT analysts on Twitter.
The second tweet was a response to an awkward exchange Shaqueille O’ Neal had with Donovan Mitchell on live TV. O’Neal told Mitchell after Utah’s win that he said earlier in the night that Mitchell doesn’t “have what it takes to get to that next level.” Mitchell wasn’t quite sure how to respond.
O’Neal wasn’t the only one who had something to say about Mitchell and the Jazz. Charles Barkley said he wants to see Mitchell get more rebounds and assists.
The Jazz’s social media team clearly has their team’s back. The Jazz is playing great ball right now and shouldn’t worry too much about O’Neal and Barkley’s hot takes.
