SOURCE SPORTS: Mike D’Antoni Leaves Brooklyn Nets Coaching Staff
Mike D’Antoni’s tenure as an assistant coach of the Brooklyn Nets is over. Steve Nash and the team announced D’Antoni has departed the team.
“I will be forever grateful for his guidance and will carry on a lifetime of lessons from the many years we’ve spent together,” Nash said in a statement. “Our players and staff all benefited from this time in Brooklyn and we wish Mike, Laurel and their family the very best in what lies ahead.”
Earlier this offseason, the Nets lost Ime Udoka as he became the head coach of the Boston Celtics.
