SMH, Again? Future Sprinkles In A ‘F**k Russell’ On New Song ‘Turn Yo Clic Up’ With Quavo
Once again Future has decided to throw shade towards Russell Wilson, this time on ‘Turn Yo Clic Up’ with Quavo.
For years there has been a one-sided cold war between Atlanta superstar Future, his ex Ciara and her husband pro athlete Russell Wilson. In a 2019 Beats1 interview petty king Future was asked about Ciara and Russell’s union and didn’t hold back on his opinion.
“He do exactly what she tell him to do!” said Future. “I feel like he not being a man in that position. He not tellin’ her, ‘Chill out with that on the internet. Don’t even talk to him. I’m your husband! You better not even bring Future’s name up!’ If that was me, she couldn’t even bring his name up,” he added.
Wilson seemingly responded on Instagram in typical high-road fashion posting stepson Little Future with his daughter Sienna with the caption “All That Matters”.
Since then things have seemed peaceful and civil on all fronts without any new acts of aggression. According to TMZ, that dry spell has come to an end in a new song. Future lent his talents to Quavo for the track “Turn Yo Clic Up” and decided to allegedly shade Russell Wilson.
Big dawg status, bill hopper
I ball in his mall for my brothers
Goyard bag, tote the cutter
I got it out the field, fu*k Russell
Go and ask Lori about the Patek, then go and ask Jordan ask Dess
Phillipe water, tryna drown a b*tch, it’s a habit trickin’ on a b*tch
Sh*t, I’m thinkin’ I could’ve been a pimp
This has gotten really old really fast. He’s gona keep Russ’ name in his mouth forever at this rate. The better man clearly won. https://t.co/oShxy23WUt

While name-dropping all his recent flings he decided to sprinkle in a “fu*k Russell”. The line is a play on Quavo’s verse earlier in the song where he says he feels like “Puff and Russ”. Future could be talking about the same Russ as Quavo but let’s be real. The toxic king has returned and maybe Russell Wilson will respond and not take the high road, but that’s highly unlikely.
