Search continues for man wanted in standoff at Summerville area home
CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are still searching for a man connected to a barricaded subject call at a Summerville area residence.
The US Marshals Service Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force and Charleston County SWAT were at a home off Tree Canopy Drive off Von Oshen Road on Monday afternoon for a suspect believed to be inside.
That person, Antonio Grant, was wanted by the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear in two cases. “The underlying charges in those cases are Murder and Possession of a weapon during a violent crime,” said John Hale, Assistant Chief Inspector with the US Marshals Service.
Hale told News 2 that the investigation is ongoing, and US Marshals are still searching for Grant.
