Police searching for assault suspect who may be in the Park Circle area
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are searching Wednesday for an assault suspect believed to be in the Park Circle area, according to North Charleston police.
Officers are currently at the ICON at Park Circle, around Old Pine Circle, as they look for the suspect.
Lt. Anthony King with the North Charleston Police Department said officers initially responded to a reported stabbing overnight, which resulted in two people being injured and taken to local hospitals.
An investigation led to the identification of a possible suspect.
“Nearby schools and residents have been asked to avoid the area,” said Lt. King amid the increased police activity in the area.
