Pedestrian killed in Sunday crash on US 52

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A pedestrian was struck and killed in Sunday night crash.

The North Charleston Police Department responded to an auto versus pedestrian crash around 11:30 p.m. on US 52 “approaching the twin bridges.” 

Officials said the pedestrian died at the scene.  Their identity has not been publicly released.

The driver remained on location and no charges have been filed, according to police officials.

The crash is under investigation.
