Injuries reported in multi-car crash near Don Holt Bridge

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle crash on I-526 Tuesday afternoon, according to the Charleston Police Department.

Officers responded to a crash involving three vehicles shortly before 2 p.m. on I-526 westbound near the Don Holt Bridge.

Authorities said one person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

One westbound lane is open, but significant delays are expected.
