Foggy start to Sunday but spring temps are expected

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Sunday began with patchy fog, but don’t cancel brunch just yet. Warmer temperatures are expected for the rest of the weekend.

“We are staying dry for the most part and that’s the good news, as you head outside most of the moisture is just off of our shore,” said Storm 2 Meteorologist Grace Lowe.

According to Storm Team 2, temperatures on Sunday will be warmer compared to yesterday, despite the cloud coverage. Temperatures are expected to be around 70 degrees until Tuesday.

Meteorologists say there is a slight risk of showers and to keep an umbrella handy just in case.

“We are going to be seeing rain, it’s going to be in the afternoon, in the form of a pop-up shower,” Lowe added. “This is not going to be a washout, nothing that you need to plan your whole day around”
