Those seeking shelter will need to bring:

- Important documents (insurance papers, medical records, etc.)
- Medications and medical supplies
- Bedding (blankets, pillows, sleeping bags)
- Personal hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, etc.)
- Food and water (non-perishable items)
- Clothing and shoes
- Flashlight with extra batteries
- Childcare items (diapers, formula, toys, etc.)
- Pet supplies (leash, carrier, food, water, bowls, collar with ID, and vaccination records)
Officials encourage pet owners to bring comfort items for their animals and keep them in a carrier or on a leash during their stay.
