Deputies investigate after man, woman found dead in Moncks Corner home

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man and woman were found dead in a Moncks Corner home.

Deputies responded to Cicadas Song Drive around 6 a.m. after a family member called Berkeley County dispatch. Two people were found dead from gunshot wounds.

Officials say the early investigation revealed the deaths were domestic-related and that detectives are investigating the shooting as a possible murder-suicide.

The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office will identify the two when appropriate.

An investigation is ongoing.
