Crash closes I-526 westbound near Leeds Ave. ‘indefinitely’

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Police say a Sunday evening crash has closed a portion of I-526.

Officials with the North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) said westbound lanes of the interstate at Leeds Avenue are closed indefinitely.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
