CPD investigating shooting at Forest Park Playground

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating a Thursday afternoon shooting in the West Ashley area.

Officials with the Charleston Police Department (CPD) said officers were on the scene of a shooting at Forest Park Playground, which is located near Playground Road and W Oak Forest Drive.

Very little information was provided about the shooting.
