Construction on All American Blvd begins in Mount Pleasant
MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – The Mount Pleasant Government announced construction has begun for All American Boulevard, improving access to local businesses and neighborhoods.
Officials say this project will extend All American Boulevard from where it ends near Wholesale Appliance to the roundabout on Park West Boulevard near US 17.
Construction efforts began in July 2024.
The purpose and need for All American Boulevard is to serve as a frontage road to US 17 providing access to local businesses and neighborhoods for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists, according to Mount Pleasant officials.

Mount Pleasant Government says the extension costs over $5 million and aims to improve traffic congestion and promote interconnectivity.
Officials say the entire extension will be constructed despite the project being designed in two phases.
