AG Wilson and advocates to observe Children’s Advocacy Day

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCBD) – South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson will observe the 14th annual Children’s Advocacy Center Day in the state capital.

Wilson will be joined by state legislators and advocates from the South Carolina Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers for a press conference at the State Grand Jury Auditorium. The event will begin at 10 a.m.

Children’s advocacy centers across South Carolina provided services to almost 14,000 children for allegations of child abuse last year, which included forensic interviews, forensic medical exams, trauma-focused mental health therapy, and multidisciplinary team coordination.
