Charleston PD investigating shooting after altercation on King Street

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — The Charleston Police Department is investigating a shooting after an altercation early Sunday morning.

Authorities say it happened just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Officers were already with the group of individuals before the shooting occurred, said officials.

CPD says that the shooting occurred after an altercation between the group.

Authorities say all injuries are not life-threatening.
