Memorial Day concert planned for Hampton Park

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A patriotic concert is planned Monday in Hampton Park to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice while preserving our freedom.

A joint concert by the Charleston Concert Band and the Columbia Concert Band is scheduled for 3 p.m. as part of the Piccolo Spoleto festival.

People are invited to bring their lawn chairs and stake out a spot to “enjoy music that represents the best of America,” said organizers.
