1 dead, 2 injured in Davison Road crash
CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – An unrestrained driver was killed following a Sunday afternoon crash that involved two pick-up trucks.
Deputies with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident scene on Davison Road around 3 p.m.
An initial investigation found that a Toyota Tacoma was traveling south on Davison Road when it hit a Ford F-150 from behind, causing both the run off the road.
The driver of the Toyota Tacoma, who deputies said was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene. Their name has not yet been released by the Charleston County coroner.
Deputies said there were two people inside the Ford F-150. Both were injured.
