Nightly road closures to affect sections of Hwy 52

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCBD) – Sections of Highway 52 will be closed in the Moncks Corner area for nightly road construction.

Officials say the intersection of Foxbank Plantation and Hwy 52 will be closed on Tuesday, Dec 10 and Wednesday, Dec 11.

The work will begin at 7 p.m. each night and will end at 6 a.m. each morning.

According to county officials, the southbound turn lane on Hwy 52 turning right onto Foxbank Plantation will be closed. Drivers turning right onto Hwy 52 from Foxbank Plantation will be detoured onto Foxbank Town Ctr Dr.

Authorities ask drivers to exercise caution and follow traffic signage when in the area.
