Georgetown man sentenced for 2023 bank robbery
GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCBD) — A Georgetown man was sentenced to prison Monday for a bank robbery.
Corey Beach, 36, pleaded guilty to entering a bank with intent to steal, according to the Fifteenth Circuit Solicitors Office. Honorable Benjamin Culbertson sentenced him to ten years for a robbery that took place Feb. 10, 2023.
The solicitor’s office said that Beach robbed Anderson Brother Bank on North Fraser Street.
Assistant Prosecutor Robert Woodruff prosecuted this case.
Police investigating the incident initially said no injuries occurred during the robbery.
