SCHP investigating deadly auto versus pedestrian crash in St Stephen

SAINT STEPHEN, S.C. (WCBD) – Troopers are investigating a deadly auto-pedestrian crash that happened Saturday night in Saint Stephen.

According to SC Highway Patrol, a 2006 Ford Explorer was traveling east on Betaw Road when the driver struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian died as a result of the crash.

The crash happened around 7 p.m. near SC Hwy 45.
